Real World Ratio Problem Using Scale

In this short video we will answer a standardized math test question where we are asked to solve a real world ratio problem using scale. We will identify the scale is a ratio. We will use the given scale to write a proportion to convert the map value to a real world distance. We will use Cross Product Property to find the cross products. We will multiply a whole number by a decimal. We will identify the correct solution from the answer choices. An exemplar solution is modeled.
