We all were born to someone else. But who was the first person ever? And whom was she born to? Could it be a being who was not completely human? Who was the first person on earth?
The question of who the first human being was is complex. Human ancestors evolved from earlier primates over millions of years. Our history includes:

Ancient ancestors were small creatures.
Primates, like Proconsul, evolved.
Australopithecus (e.g., "Lucy") walked upright.
Homo species, like Homo habilis and Homo erectus, emerged with tool use.
Neanderthals coexisted and interbred with early humans.
Homo sapiens (modern humans) appeared around 150,000 years ago.
Defining the "first human" is challenging, and it depends on the criteria. All modern humans share a common ancestor known as Mitochondrial Eve, who lived around 160,000 years ago.
