Understanding Coordinate Pairs and Describing Paths on a Coordinate Plane

In this lesson, we explored the mathematical relationships between coordinate pairs on a grid system. We learned how to describe the connection between points on a coordinate plane, including the shape of the path that connects them. By understanding the X and Y coordinates, we can determine if a line is vertical, parallel to the X or Y axis, or diagonal. This knowledge allows us to accurately locate and describe points on a coordinate plane.
