How to Use the Distributive Property to Simplify an Algebraic Expression

In this video lesson we will learn how to distribute to simplify an algebraic expression. We will understand that we need to follow Order of Operations to simplify and clear the parentheses using the Distributive Property. We will learn how to use the Area Model to Distribute as well as the linear model. We will distribute and combine like terms to simplify algebraic expressions.
