More about this video

In the earliest weeks of pregnancy a baby looks like a ball of cells than a person in these weeks, there’s no need to breathe. But as a baby starts to grow, it needs oxygen. After 5-6 weeks, the Umbilical Cord develops and starts delivering Oxygen to the fetus’s body. Which means mother breathes in for the baby and oxygen in her blood is transferred to baby’s blood. The mother also breathes out for the baby as CO2 from the baby is moved to the mother’s blood. After 36 weeks, baby's lungs are fully develop but baby take their first breath only after birth.
