Defining Linear Functions by Comparing Graphs

In this lesson, students will learn to define linear functions by comparing graphs. They will understand that linear functions are represented by straight lines, and that as you move from left to right on a linear function, you are also moving up or down the same amount each time. Students will also learn to distinguish between linear and nonlinear functions by plotting points and observing if they form a straight line or not.
